The selection of powerups and the existence of the shop were good on paper, though a lot of levels just provided the necessary powerups at the start so I never ended up buying anything except by accident. There were very few times where I actually struggled on a particular obstacle. The difficulty curve is very smooth and there's clearly a lot of care put into the level design. It's a very laid-back and straightforward play for the most part, and I was definitely having a good time for most of it. I usually play kaizo or harder standard hacks, but I tried this out yesterday and ended up getting the 100% + star coins in one go.
